01 / G’ZOX COATINGS

The finish you love.
Care that makes sense.

Our two coating recommendations are G’ZOX Real Glass Coat – Class M and G’ZOX Quartz 9. This guide explains preparation and expectations, with Class M’s product information drawn from G’ZOX Japan.

A liquid treatment, not a sheet of film.

G’ZOX’s coating technology forms a glass-like surface structure as the applied liquid cures. “Glass coating” describes the treatment on painted bodywork; it does not mean the service is for windows.

For Class M, the priorities are gloss, water repellency and easier ongoing care. A coating follows the prepared surface underneath it: existing swirls, scratches and deposits still need assessment.

Choose it for the right reason.

Coating and PPF solve different problems. A coating is a surface treatment. PPF adds a physical film that can reduce damage from road debris. Discuss film coverage first if stone chips are your main concern.

Neither treatment eliminates care. Good preparation, gentle washing and prompt attention to contamination remain part of owning a well-kept finish.

Technology background: G’ZOX Japan coating knowledge. Body coatings should not be assumed compatible with windows, wheels, interiors, PPF or vinyl.

REAL GLASS COAT · JAPAN OFFICIAL INFORMATION

Class M

A gloss-focused finish.

Japan’s official page highlights depth of gloss, strong water repellency and resistance to environmental contamination. Class M is positioned for the deepest gloss within the Real Glass Coat series.

Its laboratory results support specific performance claims. They do not make the finish scratch-proof or establish a fixed lifespan on your car.

What the manufacturer’s tests mean

In the reported abrasion comparison, a JIS-standard bristle brush is passed over test panels 50 times. The change in 20° gloss is 2.5 for Class M and 4.9 for the conventional comparison product.

A separate JIS K 2396 xenon-arc test tracks water contact angle under accelerated weathering. These controlled tests are not a prediction of years of Adelaide driving or an Australian warranty.

OUR SECOND COATING RECOMMENDATION

Quartz 9

A clear conversation before you choose.

Quartz 9 is also available to discuss with G’ZOX Adelaide. Ask us to explain the exact product, preparation, suitable surfaces and ongoing care for your vehicle.

Your quote should name the coating and included preparation, along with applicable local terms. The Class M tests on this page apply to Class M; they should not be read as Quartz 9 results.

Discuss Quartz 9 with the studio ↗

Preparation is part of the choice.

A product name alone does not describe a complete service. We discuss inspection, cleaning, any appropriate paint correction, the coated surfaces and aftercare. A new car deserves the same careful assessment as a well-loved one.

Looking after Class M.

G’ZOX Japan recommends regular washing: rinse loose dirt, wash gently and dry with a soft, suitable towel. Leaving droplets to dry can leave deposits even on water-repellent paint.

For contamination that water alone cannot remove, the manufacturer specifies suitable maintenance products. Remove bird droppings, sap and insects promptly. Ask the studio about persistent deposits instead of scrubbing aggressively.

Avoid abrasive scratch removers, wax-containing shampoos and unapproved additional coatings. The right product matters as much as the wash routine.

Official Class M maintenance instructions ↗

What should collection include?

Confirm the initial curing and first-wash instructions for your selected coating. Ask which cleaners to use, when to arrange an inspection and what to do if the water behaviour changes.

For Quartz 9, request its own care instructions. Do not transfer another coating’s maintenance products, curing intervals or laboratory claims to it.

Performance depends on use, storage, weather and maintenance. Ask for the applicable written Australian terms, including any inspection requirements, rather than assuming a universal lifespan.
