A vinyl wrap is a styling choice. Colours, accents and textures can transform the way a car looks, with a different purpose from dedicated protective PPF.
Appearance comes first
Cast vinyl can be used for a full colour change or selected accents. It covers the existing surface, but it does not correct dents, texture or damaged paint underneath. The substrate needs to be assessed before the finish is chosen.
Although vinyl adds a covering, we would not ask you to choose ordinary styling vinyl on the assumption that it delivers the same stone-chip resistance as a protective polyurethane film.

At G’ZOX Adelaide, our colour-change vinyl wraps are applied with the vehicle’s components in place. We discuss the finish around the existing fittings and the coverage that can be achieved with this approach.
That makes an honest edge-and-recess conversation important. Some original colour may remain visible in door shuts, tight returns or from certain angles. We explain those areas rather than promise an invisible colour change everywhere.
Removable does not mean zero risk.
Tell us about previous paint repairs or resprays. Paint condition, curing, adhesion, film age and removal method can affect the outcome. 3M highlights particular risk with poorly cured resprays and recommends professional removal. Arrange an assessment before installation or removal.
